1993 I started working for Cabela's in Catalog Keypunch adding customers names and addresses to the computer so they could received Cabela's catalogs through the mail.......1996 I had applied and was accepted into Catalog as an Electronic Page Assembler. We worked closely with Art Directors and Graphic Artists to build the catalog pages for all Cabela's products by using the MAC computer. Taking images from Media Bank and dragging them to QuarkXpress....... Retiring in 1999 to go back to school to get a degree in Graphics Arts, except I decided that field was heavily flooded and I preferred working with html coding......2003 Graduating from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming with Associate of Applied Science for Web Page Design/Information Technology......2005 Returning to Cabela's by obtaining a job as an Internet Web Specialist.... 2015 I was promoted to Team Lead of Internet Production where i was 2nd in charge and spokesperson for 22 member team when the Manager was gone or busy in business meetings......
2016 Cabela's outsourced Internet Production to QUAD Graphics and I became the head of a 5-person liaison team that was chosen to stay and maintain the work flow that the 22 person team previously generated. The 5-person team worked closely with 130 merchants to keep the work flow moving smoothly to the cabelas.com site.......
I was also instrumental in formulating a data network software for our company that will streamline product items into a report process for our eCommerce site to create the process digitally and by doing this the company will be greener.......
In 2018 the initiatives and projects in which I was a participant led to significant contributions improving product page performance and overall experience for guests of Cabela’s eCommerce site. Very solution oriented team member with high attention to detail and as a result was asked to participate in a number of critical initiatives including the transition of various functional responsibilities to a third-party serving as a liaison for the business, value stream mapping which led to a number of operational efficiencies and continued oversite of the on-premise team and it’s service level agreements.
In addition to my commitment to the team and organization, I was widely respected by Merchandising and Digital Operations teams for the depth of knowledge that was brought to my role and accountability in seeing a significant volume of assignments through to successful completion.
